Beef steaks (any kind will do)
Salt and pepper
1 cup water
1 green bell pepper, sliced
Cut steak into 1/2-inch chunks, being sure to cut off most of the fat. Round steak or tenderized steak is good, or small-cut stew meat. Brown in skillet with enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. When brown, add chili powder, salt, pepper, and cumin to taste. Add a little flour and cold water mixed to make a sauce, cover, and simmer until meat is tender and sauce is thick. Add more water while cooking if needed.
Serve with grated cheese and flour tortillias. Also good with rice.
