Mexican Wedding Cookies

1 cup margarine or butter (2 sticks)
6 Tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans


Cream butter and sugar, mix with remaining ingredients. Do not overmix, or cookies will be tough. Roll in balls the size of walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and press flat with fork. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. Do not let get too brown. Just until bottom of cookies is slightly brown. While hot, roll in powdered sugar.
